There is an immediate requirement for a Traffic Engineer to work for an innovative and enthusiast Local Government team. This position, forming part of the Transport and Infrastructure Services team, is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role within a dynamic and supportive environment.



As an Intermediate Traffic Engineer you will be conducting site inspections and safety audit reports, liaising with contractors and consultancy firms as well as dealing with stakeholder inquiries in a professional and timely manner.



The successful candidate will be a qualified Civil Engineer or have an equivalent qualification. A sound knowledge of traffic and transport principles and practices as well as the issues impacting on Local Government and its operating environment is advantageous. You will have the ability to participate and have the confidence to deal with customer queries by having exceptional communication skills.
