* CONTRACT SYSTEMS ACCOUNTANT * 6 MONTHS CONTRACT * ERP FOR FINANCE BACKGROUND

This contract role will see you contribute directly to, enhancements to my clients Project and core Finance systems, and the support of those systems. The scope of systems projects includes requirements specification, testing, training, and implementation.
You will act as a internal consultant to the business in relation to finance systems matters and help manage any financial systems activities that may arise. The scope of financial systems covers Projects, GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Management Reporting, and Client Reporting.
To be considered for this role your skills will include:

* Well-developed understanding of the structure of contemporary ERP systems, preferably in professional services, project-oriented businesses. * Well developed understanding of SQL Server databases and the use of SQL queries. * Detailed understanding of accounting concepts and finance system processes. * Proven ability to manage successful system enhancement implementations in medium to large organisations. * Proven experience in successfully working with different parts of the business, particularly operations, IT, Finance, and external providers, to achieve project objectives. * Experience with management reporting and business intelligence tools, and the creation of ad hoc queries. * Candidates with strong skills around crystal reports and epicore will be highly regarded

This is an initial 6 month maternity leave contract with rates commensurate to expertise within a high profile organisation.
